Grammata Beach

Grammata Bay is one of the most remote and extraordinary places that you can visit during your vacations in the Region of Himare and is located north of Palasa.

Dhraleo Beach

Dhraleo beach is located at the bottom of Llogara Mountain and a little north of Palasa. The beach is inside a huge delta of a river that used to bring waters from the Acroceraunian Mountains.

Perivolo Beach

Perivolo beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on the northern region of Himara, hidden in olive groves and evergreens, and surrounded by large rocks that create small and wondrous bays.

Jaliskari Beach

Dhermi beach (or Jaliskari as it is called by locals) is located on the southern part of the village of Drymades. Once this place was home to some of the most popular dance party’s all over Albania.

Gjipe Beach

The beach of Gjipe, the most remotely accessed beach of the region, is created in a very special way. Its shore it’s formed by a creek and on both sides of the beach there is a magnificent canyon (the canyon of Gjipe) with high rock formations up to 70m.

Jali Beach

Jali beach is located just before the village of Vuno, almost a 3 kilometers far from the main road. It has a large main beach with fine sand and crescent rocky ridges with blue and green colors, and two small ones occupied by some resort hotels.

Livadhi beach is famous for its deep blue waters and the endless fields of olive trees, it is one of the largest beaches of the region, it has a stretch of 1.2 km and more than 60 meters of sand, and it’s mostly visited by campers and families for its peace and quiet.

Beaches of Himara

The center of Himare is divided in 4 different beaches. Spile is the main beach in front of the center of Himara, about 400 meters long with thick sand, being a public beach it is very populated from early in the mornings.

Llamana Beach

After the town of Himare and Potami neighborhood, a small and beautiful beach lies ahead. Stuck between rocky hills, the beach is the most frequented during the high season.

Panormi Beaches

It has more than 10 small beaches most of them hidden and accessible only by boat. The larges beach is located at the middle of the bay on the way to the castle of Ali Pasha.

Just after the wonderful bay of Panormi lies the small and quiet village of Qeparo with its pebble beach decorated with olive and orange trees.

Borshi Beach

Borshi beach is the longest in the region of Himare and most probably in Albania with a stretch of more than 5 kilometers long and 30 meters wide sand.

A small ex-military occupied zone Buneci lies between the village of Piqeras and Lukove, a beautiful beach full of military bunkers built during the communist regime waiting for the unknown enemy.

The coastline of Lukove consist of a variety of small beaches and a large named Shpella (Cave) beach. The way to the beach is long and follows the hills down like a snake road between the olive trees giving it a unique and natural beauty.

Akroriza beach is located on the Ionian Sea, about 10 kilometers north-west of Saranda. Due to wild untouched natural habitat, not too many people are familiar with this place.

The castle of Ali Pasha at the bay of Panormi is a small fortification located on a lovely peninsula in the middle of the bay, which was also known among sailors since ancient times.
