Jali beach is located just before the village of Vuno, almost 3 kilometres far from the main road. It has a large main beach with fine sand and crescent rocky ridges with blue and green colours, and two small ones occupied by some resort hotels. It’s a popular destination among young people, tourists and Albanian, because of its organized camps and music events that are happening every weekend.
It has a rocky coastline with many small and hidden beaches, a bit farther north visitor can swim at the cave of Pigeons which is accessible only by the sea, you can rent a kayak or a boat ride to visit this place. This beach is sometimes called “Glass Beach” for its crystal-clear wasters. The beach of Jali is home to one of the first organized campings in Albania, Jali Camping, founded in 1999.
There are a couple restaurants serving seafood and Mediterranean cuisine and cafes at the front of the beach and many hotels and apartments for rent behind them. Water sports are also available here with Jet Skis and boat rides being the main activities.
To visit this beach follow the national road driving north from Himara, in about 8 kilometers you'll find a sign pointing to the left just before entering the village of Vuno. Continue to the direction of the coast driving through the olive grooves until a fantastic view of Jali and the Ionian sea is reveled to you. Drive down the road till you reach the beach of Jali.
